Getting Started on Olii-8882 — Your First 10 Minutes

Welcome to Olii-8882 — the home for Malian builders, creators and curious minds. This is your community: a place to share what you make, learn from others and grow together. Here's how to feel at home in your first ten minutes.

1. Make your profile you

Head to your Dashboard and open Edit profile.

  • Pick your avatar. Every new member starts with a friendly Olii avatar — choose the one that fits you, or upload your own photo any time.
  • Add a tagline and bio. One line about what you do goes a long way ("Full-stack student & builder", "Photographer from Bamako").
  • List your skills and your links (GitHub, Instagram, TikTok…). If you take freelance work, flip on "I'm available as a freelancer" so others can find you.

A complete profile is the difference between a name and a person people want to work with.

2. Say hello with your first post

The Hub is where the community shares. Tap Upload a Post and tell us:

  • what you're building, 🛠️
  • a tutorial you wish you'd had, 📚
  • an open-source project, 🧬
  • or an announcement. 📣

Don't overthink it — share early, iterate often. Your first post is a hello, not a masterpiece.

3. Find your people

  • Members — browse the community, follow the builders you like and check out their QR member cards.
  • Collab — looking for teammates for a project, or a paid gig? Post it, or answer someone else's. Contact happens by DM or WhatsApp, instantly.
  • Messages — reach anyone directly.

Following people fills your world with updates and makes Olii feel alive.

4. Explore the good stuff

  • Archives — apps, games, books and more, shared and organised by the community. Download, try everything, come back and rate it.
  • Shorts — quick visual posts. Great for a work-in-progress or a one-image idea.

5. Earn your stripes 🏅

The more you show up, the more Olii recognises you. Post, comment, help others and you'll start collecting badges and climbing the levels on your dashboard — from Rookie all the way to Icon. Keep an eye on the bell 🔔: we'll tell you the moment you earn something.

That's it — you're an Olii member now

Set your avatar, drop your first post, follow a few people. Everything else you'll discover as you go. Welcome to the family. 💜

The Golden Rule: Safety & Legality First Before you begin, it is critical to understand two things: Torrenting itself is legal: It is simply a technology for sharing files efficiently.
