NFC Wi-Fi Transfer 8882

Project Type: Independent Utility App / Community Project Stage: APK Release / Active Development Looking for: Users, Testers & Developer Collaboration

Overview

NFC Wi-Fi Transfer 8882 is an application designed to make moving files from your phone to your Windows laptop completely frictionless.

The goal is to eliminate cables and complex pairing menus or going through apps such as WhatsApp or Telegram Just to get your file on the Laptop in the end, allowing you to trigger fast, secure file transfers with a single tap. This project was built to solve a real daily friction point and create a more seamless bridge between mobile and PC environments.

While the core project is developed independently, I am releasing it to the community to use and test, and I’m actively looking for developers who want to collaborate on making it even better.

What I Built

Developed natively in Kotlin using Android Studio, this project focuses on:

  • Initiating seamless file transfers via a simple NFC tap
  • Bypassing the need for manual connection setups between Android and Windows
  • Providing a lightweight, transparent, and direct solution for everyday file sharing
  • Focusing strictly on core functionality and transfer speeds

Current Status

  • The core Android application is complete and compiled.
  • The NFC Wi-Fi Transfer 8882.apk is finalized and ready for download.
  • Initial hardware testing is successful, and it’s running smoothly on daily drivers.

What I’m Looking For

I want to get this tool into people’s hands to see how it performs in the wild, and I’m looking to connect with developers to push the app’s limits.

💡 Users & Testers

  • Download the APK, set it up, and use it in your daily workflow.
  • Let me know about transfer speeds, stability, and your overall experience. Bug reports and feature requests are highly welcome!

💡 Developers

  • While the main repository isn’t fully public, I am actively looking for collaborators.
  • If you have experience with Kotlin, Android UI/UX, or local network transfer protocols and want to help optimize the core logic, let’s talk.

How to Get Involved

  1. To Use: Download the APK from the shared resources below and follow the Windows receiver setup instructions.
  2. To Collaborate: Reach out with a short intro about your background and how you’d like to help improve the app. We can discuss sharing access or working on specific modules together.

Shared Resources
